The mission of Hope Vineyard is to seek unsaved and unchurched people and turn them into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ
Vision Statement
The overall purpose of Hope Vineyard Church of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is to honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by carrying out His command to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Hope Vineyard will be an equipping center where every Christian can be developed to his potential for ministry. In order to do this we will;
- Intentionally seek out those who are spiritually and emotionally broken, the unchurched, and the unsaved, to offer them a place to find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.
- Offer teaching that is Biblical and relevant to life.
- Offer inspirational worship and true sense of community
- Demonstrate the love of Jesus through servant leadership.
- Develop an informal, "come as you are" culture.
- Encourage participation in small groups and outreach, all the while guiding and committed Christians toward leadership positions within the Church.
