Hope Vineyard...A Church On A Mission

Outreach

On August 14th, 2010 Hope Vineyard Church had  Back-To-School Barbecue which surpassed all expectations. The neighborhood came out in droves and we ran through our entire backpack supply within the first hour. The church cooked lots of good eats on the grill and Hope Vineyard met their neighbors.  Hope Vineyard members were sharing the Gospel and reaching out in God's love. Hope Vineyard decided to purchase the school bags and supplies for the kids that showed up after our supply of backpacks was gone. Church members delivered them to their homes on later that week. Thank you Lord for giving the church this opportunity to serve You and serve our neighborhood.

Hope Vineyard would like to continue to have more outreaches as we grow in our ministry and gospel sharing skills. Stay tuned for future outreach opportunities.

"O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!" Psalms 34:8. As we help you in your current need for food, let us pray for you and allow you to find refuge in Christ during this season of your life.  In January 2011, Hope Vineyard opened a food pantry at our B Avenue location. For food pantry information, please contact Colleen Doyle at 319-361-5362.

As we study in Luke 16, we have learned about ministry developing through one on one interactions with common people: a jailer, a demon possessed girl, and a business women. Our challenge as a church is to build outreach through every day interactions. How are you being can you be used for the kingdom? What ministry are you developing in your job, home, or local local community?
